Google Chrome

My version of Google Chrome - 58.0.3029.110 - seems to be playing up. It was installed in March 2014, so I guess there are updates? Would it be best to uninstall Chrome and down the latest 2017 version? I found a site for Chromium Browser Free download but thought I'd check on here to make sure I'm going to the right place!

Just download and install the latest version. I believe it will look after itself. Mine did, anyway.

I'm no expert, I hasten to add Lindy, but unless you are using Windows XP or Vista I would imagine that your version of Google Chrome will already be receiving updates from Google.

PS:- XP and Vista are no longer supported.

Re: Google Chrome

Open Chrome and click the Settings icon (three vertical dots) at the top-right of the Window.

Select 'Help' and then select 'About Google Chrome'. Chrome will then automatically start to check for updates and install the latest version.

There will be a message to re-launch the browser. Do that and the job is done.

Re: Google Chrome

Is Google Chrome worth installing? I have always avoided it like the plague after installing it a few years ago and causing untold problems on my old pc.
