I did have Firefox, but had some problems with it trying to work with Windows 10. They may have sorted that now, though.

Still, I have found no problems with Chrome. The only reservation is that Chrome doesn't seem to like us downloading and saving some YouTube videos. I have also kept Firefox for that purpose.

If you need to do the same with YouTube videos, you could try: http://www.youtubedownloaderhd.com/
which works with Firefox and is, of course, free!

Anyway, it's easy to install Chrome and, if you don't like it, equally easy to install other browsers. Nothing to lose.
