Is this right ?
Should a man be spared prison because of what he is ?
Presumably a dustman would have gone to jail .

No-one should be above the law.

If we start operating a two/three tier legal system then we really are heading for hell in a handcart !!

But logically speaking it does society no good to have a heart surgeon in jail for groping .
Having the moral high ground is Ok unless you are dying of heart failure .

I understand why you are saying that Muddy but, if we do that, we will be operating a two tier punishment system in a country that says all should be treated equally.

Well I could demonstrate my Can-Can whilst standing in front of him.... but he may need a few painkillers before he operated.

S'pose it's different for a woman though.....He should be given a slap and told to behave.....

Load of tosh.
Well, for an aspiring surgeon, being good with a knife is a positive boon.

According to the report he could be struck off by the GMC. To get around this, he's contemplating buggering off to Morocco where " GMC restrictions do not apply". Restrictions that include do not grope your patients I assume.

Crime is crime....the sentence should not be influenced by anything other than the severity of the crime.

It really p***** me off when you have two people committing the same crime...one male, one female, both have the same level of involvement yet the female gets a more lenient sentence. grrrrr
