Re: Do you exercise specifically for a holiday?

Some great replies, thanks.
It's not about vanity though, I see it more as looking presentable in public and keeping oneself fit by living a moderately healthy lifestyle. True, it may all be in the mind, but at if it makes one feel better in him/herself, I can't see anything wrong in it.
But at the end of the day I'm sure as soon as I get there I'll be enjoying myself by drinking and eating anything I fancy!

Oh I see, you make yourself look good for the ladies on holiday, who you don't know Then you fatten yourself up whilst you are there and come back to the ladies on here as The Blob!

Re: Do you exercise specifically for a holiday?

I would never exercise or go on a diet especially for a holiday I take regular exercise all year round and I eat a healthy diet My holidays are never about stuffing my face or lazing around on a beach they are always very active so if anything I lose weight more when I'm on holiday then I would if I stayed at home

What are you talking about, Twink? I don't recall saying anything untoward to offend you recently. Where on here did I say I wanted to "look good for the ladies on holiday"?

I'm going away with my wife and just because you may have little self-respect for the way you present yourself, doesn't mean that others can't be more presentable.

You really do not understand anything about physical exercise or keeping yourself fit, do you? Quite frankly, your troll-like reply is basically very immature and wholly ignorant.

It was supposed to be a joke, but I can see you are not in a humorous mood.

I'm very happy actually, Twink. I go away tomorrow.
It just seemed like you were a little snidey to be honest about the whole fitness situation, of which I will always defend as it is a vastly important part of our lives to look after ourselves.
No harm done I guess.

Well have a good holiday and remember, I am not snidey about how people run their lives, it is everybody's own choice how they pass their time. I used to be a rugby first aide and was always happy to have a fit healthy team.

I'm not sure fitness and body building are the same thing are they? Most gym fanatics that I know just do it for vanity, no different to the peacock wanting the biggest feathers really IMO.
