"Mr Corbyn has said he stands ready to form a minority government should Mrs May fail to do so herself.

In an interview with the Morning Star, Mr McDonnell said: “I don’t think this government is a legitimate government. It hasn’t got an overall majority. "

What does he think Labour has? The man's delusional.

I thought you had a stuttering finger !

Anyway, thanks for the link. That John McDonnell is a nasty piece of work .

Quite convinced that there's a lot going on behind close doors.
Isn't this how other countries have progressed into civil wars ?

This Labour opposition are bad bunch. It is of course the ordinary person who is called upon and succumbs to support these anarchist protests, who come off worst. Not the instigators. They just stay hidden behind the scenes.

It's disgraceful that an MP can make such a call. Is he doing it on behalf of the Labour Party, or on behalf of his own personal beliefs. He needs to be jailed ! Get him off the streets.

Re: Looney Lefty Labour Desperation

Sad about PM May she seemed to be a departure from the usual Eton educated buffoons that usually provide Briton's with their inept leaders.

Her recent election bid seems to show she is made of the same stuff; it takes real talent to turn a 17 seat majority and an unassailable poll lead into a minority government. I wonder which gallah will follow her? let's face Corbyn couldn't be any more incompetent than his Tory predecessors could he?

Re: Looney Lefty Labour Desperation

Realist appears to have forgotten the real reason why May called the election, which was to get a strong mandate, obviously the woman had become spellbound by polls that showed the Tories could obtain a three figure majority, also Corbny's personal rating were dismal.

She failed dismally to achieve the predicted landslide instead ended up with a hung parliament humbling herself by stooping and scraping to the DUP, abandoning her manifesto as demonstrated in yesterday's Queen's speech.

She forgot a week is a long time in politics, eight is a life time

A triumph Realist (Fantasist). No a humiliating defeat that will go down as one of the biggest political blunders of all time.

Re: Looney Lefty Labour Desperation

New alias appears and dives straight into all the anti-Labour threads. Not fooling me matey.

Still, you play the ball not the man so let's address your rhetoric.

A General Election is not held on the basis of having to achieve a landslide victory (predicted or not) and neither is the winner determined on that attribute.

An election is simple. The winner is the one with the most seats and the most votes.

Conservatives achieved most seats and most votes. Ergo the Tories won, fair and square and considering Labour could only achieve a pathetic 262 seats, the Tories won by a country mile.

No amount of sound bites about landslides and majorities is going to change those facts matey boy. It is you that is fantasising here not me.

Labour lost, it really is that simple.

The sooner you and other supporters snap out of the delusional denial, the sooner you can work towards putting together an actual cohesive party that is fit to govern.

Again, no defeat here. Conservatives won. Continually denying that just makes you look jaded and unable to debate rationally.

May was 100% correct in realising that any government needed to have a clear mandate for BrExit because that government will have to make some unpopular decisions to get the job done. The fact that Remoaners nationally co-ordinated and voted tactically to scupper BrExit does not make May's decision the wrong one.

The fault is not with May. It is with the Remainers who have shown themselves to be enemies of democracy.

May will I trust ignore their stupid antics and get on with the job and clear BrExit up once and for all, then they can focus their efforts on something else.
