Re: Why can't we pick our own veggies ?

According to an informed video I watched today robots will be carrying out 50% of jobs by the year 2050 in developed countries and yet the world population will increase to the tune of an extra 2.5 BILLION. Big social changes are in the pipeline and maybe low skilled jobs will become a rarity. Once an affordable robot becomes available for crop picking I should think that will be it for employment for seasonal pickers.
