We only have one really lethal knife in our house a Sabatiere
I tend to hide it in case a burglar gets ideas .
I always wash it very carefully .

Well I don't do the washing up, the OH does, I prepare, cook, wipe up and put away.

I had a piece of glass embedded in my foot, no not washing up with my feet, for three years before finding out what it was causing pain.
I can't bear seeing broken glass, it gives me palpitations!

When you're washing up, glasses become invisible under the bubbles, they're easily broken with all the swishing about, very nasty!

I don't do washing up now I'm a Laidee of leisure,everything goes into the dishwasher.I know We're told not to put sharp knives in there...but I gave up doing what I was told a long time ago

Tip: wear rubber gloves when washing glassware, it won't slip so much in your hands.
