Time to say "Goodbye" to Our 'Enery

I'm taking Henry on his final journey in a couple of hours.

Heavy heart, filled with dread and sadness.

We've all been there Terry, the loss of such a good old friend is hard to bear but you've had a good life together and the final act is one of love, not cruelty. My heart goes out to you both at this sad time.

It really is not good at all, I always have a good cry.

Your last act of love for him, remember the good times and that he had a good life.

That is sad news Terry and it is the kindness in your heart that doesn't want to see your little friend suffer.

You have probably given Henry the best years of his life in the short time you have had him and it takes a very brave man to make this final decision to release him gently of any suffering.

I am so sorry to hear this, I know only too well how heart breaking it is, but you have given Henry a lot of love and care when he needed it most and you are still showing him your love by not letting him suffer. My heartfelt sympathies to you.

I am so very sorry Terry. Sorry for you, and sorry for Henry too.

Try to look at this way. He's had a good home, a good Dad, well fed, a comfy bed, and love in his final days. You gave him all that.
He wouldn't have that had you not taken him in.

Be brave, have a good cry and be thankful he came in to your life for a while. Maybe in time you could help another one too.
