It is indeed.

However, this differs according to countries and cultures.

African countries have suffered overpopulation for some time because of their high birth rate compared to the resources available to them.

China's population was becoming dangerously high and their authorities' solution was to limit the number of childbirths permissible to each family.

On the other hand, most Western nations' indigenous birth rates have remained fairly constant. In fact some, like Germany, have found their indigenous population's birth rate to be becoming insufficient to maintain their population. Hence Adolf Merkel's infamous invitation to foreigners.

Britain has found that its population is getting out of hand largely due to birth rate, and this mainly of 'certain cultures'.

I'd like to see our government removing all child benefits, and possibly other handouts, to families which choose to have more than two children, just as the Chinese did. It worked for them, anyway.

I am responsible for two kids, one male, one female.

If I had my time again, I would much prefer to be responsible for 3 children, all male.

This is because daughters are a nightmare, especially if you bring them up to be feisty and independent.

I always taught my daughter to stick up for herself and not to worry about it, Dad would sort anything out.

Aged 15 daughter and friend got themselves all dolled up and into a nightclub VIP Room, both sets of parents under the belief they were having a sleepover at a friends house.

Boozed up, they very nearly got themselves raped by some very nasty individuals.

That did take some considerable sorting out

I grounded her for a month, this was of course totally unreasonable and did she let me know.

Similar but school prom, boozed up she spent the night in hospital. Her friends fathers stash was depleted. Think she learned a lot that night....... So did I.
