They went to other parties. That happened because lots of Remainers co-ordinated to try and scupper BrExit. They used a general election as a tool for anarchy. It should be noted that the "other parties" in that equation are many and varied. It varied according to individual constituencies. They simply voted for whatever party in that constituency would enable the Tories to lose. The votes were not in any way votes of support for the party in question.

I totally agree !

Looney Labour being unable to get any more seats than they did 7 years ago in the 2010 election is an utterly embarrassing situation. It's a devastating loss any way you cut it. If you remove the tactical Remainer votes from the equation it would likely have been one of the worse Looney Labour losses in history ! Thank Corbyn for that result.

Before the 8th June the scumbag 'nasty party' had an overall majority of 17 seats. Because the arrogant, ignorant evil witch wanted a landslide victory and the electorate told her in no uncerytain terms - sod off!! and eliminated her majority altogether - and you have the gall to hail that a victory??? As I've said elsewhere, the 'men in grey suits' (vultures) are now circling around the evil witch ready to plunge the knife in, and now, having set the precedent that a new incoming leader must seek approval from the electorate, I expect another GE before the end of the year and the keys to NNumber 10 to be ceremoneously handed to Jeremy.

Keep taking the tablets UJ !

Elections are won on number of seats, number of votes. You can keep spewing out the same old rhetoric but you have to face it the rule of elections isn't going to change. Most seats, most votes.

Tories got most seats and most votes. Hence they won.

If we had another election tomorrow the same result would occur.

Labour are dismally behind, Corbyn is not liked, Labour are not liked.

But keep banging the deluded drum it is comical.

Explain where all those seats disappeared to.

Whichever way you translate the figures it's an embarrassment.
I don't intend to explain anything. I was merely stating a few facts. The Conservatives have more seats than Labour which makes them still the largest party. They also received a million or so more votes. The rest I'm sure you're capable of working out for yourself.

Didn't Neil Kinnock say at Sheffield " go back to your'e constituencies and prepare for government" just before John Major wiped the floor with him?

Won't or can't. May said she needed a strong mandate in order
to get brexit through Parliament she failed.

You can keep quoting figures most of which Tory ministers banded about, it makes no difference they are in a weaker position than they were before June eight.

Is that not a fact.

Re: "But You Still Lost"

What plot can Corbyn and his cronies conspire to make such a statement as ' I'll be PM in 6 months' .?

Tories might be referred to as the 'nasty party' but Corbyn is nothing other than a 'nasty little shoit' and that's being polite !

Weaker or not it is matterless. The Tories got 56 more seats than Looney Labour. Clinging to this sound bite isn't going to change the election result is it?!

And if you are going to insist on clinging to such silly sound bites then, assuming you are able to be impartial, then you HAVE to concede that Looney Labour was left in an absolutely dire and weak position.

Remember that in the 2010 election Looney Labour could only muster 258 seats, another astounding loss. 7 years later and Looney Labour now have a load of Remainers tactically voting to keep the Tories from winning seats so they can scupper BrExit. This swings some seats from Conservative to Labour.

Now are you seriously suggesting that those Labour votes were actual votes for the Labour party and it's policies? If so you are utterly deluded.

Bottom line is Labour, having had the help of tactical Remainers and a bribed youth vote, could only muster 262 seats which is just 3 more seats than they got in 2010.

Any sane and rational mind can only conclude therefore that Looney Labour are in fact in a much much worse position than they were in 2010.

All fact.

But Looney Labourites are in total denial of course.

All the better because that means they will do nothing, keep Corbyn and Abbott in place and subsequently continue seeing the same appalling results at each election. Fine by me !

Ah yes, you're right Judd. Must be getting old. Kinnock just took it for granted they would win and got too carried away with it all, chanting we're alright like a pop star.
