So we continue.

Barbaric crimes = good
Soft punishments = good

I feel sorry for the poor victims.
Tbh I don't think one size fits all some may be helped by softer punishments and never reoffend others may need a tougher approach and never reoffend and some may be lost causes and always reoffend.

Re: Sick/Sick /Evil

They should drown the bloody burglars.
I absolutely cannot abide mindless cruelty to animals.

I don't find barbaric crimes acceptable.
My point is that nobody has come up with a good solution yet.
Harsh punishment hasn't wiped out crime nor has lenient punishment.
Punishment is a deterrent for some but not for all. I'm afraid that there will always be crime on this planet, no matter how many of us want to drown the bastards.

Ah but, if we could drown them, surely that would be the answer..... and then they couldn't produce more bastards to carry on the barbaric crimes.

Re: Sick/Sick /Evil

Never popular but if punishments don't work we need to ask why they do it. If we knew that we might stand a chance to stop them before it happens.
