Re: Wolves.

I read somewhere once that there had never been a single instance of a wolf attacking a human being. I can't believe that to be honest

A good few years ago now, I was at a dog obedience competition, and a lovely man had a stall there all about his wolves. A totally passionate, dedicated man who actually lived in with a wolfpack to be accepted by them so he could learn all about them and their way of life.
I got to know him through the dog club, and he came home with me once, to see my beautiful German Shepherds.
I still have a book he signed for me.

He is the sort of man I would respect and listen to, someone who lived with wolves every day and still works with them today, not some newspaper reporter who probably hardly knows a wolf from a wombat.

Nor can I .
I would be very nervous about meeting a wolf in the wild .
I am nervous when a german shepherd runs past me with no owner in sight and I'm a dog person.
