North Korea willing to hold talks with the US

North Korea is willing to hold talks with the US, South Korea says.

The announcement came after Gen Kim Yong-chol met South Korean President Moon Jae-in before the closing ceremony of the Winter Olympics.

Is this a serious offer by the little telly-tubby, of a plan to make it look as if America is the bad guy ?

Not sure. It all seems a bit too easy to me.

In my humble opinion...neither Kim Jong-Un nor tRump...should be running a country...they're both idiots!

I just can't imagine that a handshake at the winter Olympics can thwart the third World war. Very odd.

Any step away from war is a good step and should be made

Re: North Korea willing to hold talks with the US

It's got to be worth pursuing .... more jaw, less war ... so to speak.

Not too encouraging though when it says in the article ..

but US officials have ruled out meeting the North Korean delegation.

The US says North Koreans pulled out of a meeting with Vice-President Mike Pence during the opening ceremony.

The rapprochement between the two Koreas has been seen as a move by the North to drive a wedge between the South and the US.

Oh come on guys ..you're both bigger than that! We all know you're big guys because you both tell us you are often enough.
If those two didn't descend to personalities they might make some headway.
Actually for the N.Korean nutjob it all sounds uncharacteristically diplomatic.

It may not solve anything but it's certainly a step in the right direction
