Sorry I didn't see it until I'd posted, I have however found that it depends on the training the pharmacist has under taken some are allowed to others aren't, also the advice to them is to always have a chaperone present. It seems many are worried about possible complaints.

This is why I get my pharmacist to give me my annual flu jab. If one goes to the doctor, it is a block booking with twenty or so people waiting. If I go to the pharmacist he will do it when I ask and frequently there are no other people in the shop, so no waiting amongst potential germ carrying patients.
