Christmas cake made

Just out of the oven, the smell is driving me insane, I sooo want a slice, but I have to wait till Christmas, and this year, I made it, well not exactly, because my wife has osteoporosis in her thumb she couldn't stir in all the ingredients, so she measured, and I stirred so I made it ,right?, mind you, if it doesn't taste very nice,( I'm sure it won't, judging by the aroma) then I was just the assistant

Re: Christmas cake made

I was given my Christmas Pudding today by a lady at the Seniors' Club she makes at least half a dozen each year and fortunately I am on her Christmas Card list.

They are delicious even my kids appreciate them. I buy a small bottle of brandy to go with it (well to set fire to anyway)

Re: Christmas cake made

My husband and grace have made our cake and three Christmas puddings yesterday. We are all a bit excited about Christmas this year first year as a real proper legal family.
