It certainly says it monitors each battery individually. I'll get andrew N screwdriver and have a look.
In the spec it says quote"

What it doesn't say is each cell has its own microprocessor although it tends to suggest it. What it does say is it has
A microprocessor not 8 microprocessors
All it says is individual supervision etc which is not the same thing.
I spent a very long time researching a load of battery chargers of this type for AA and AAA batteries What I noticed is how carefully worded they were.
Some specifications designed to mislead what they were capable of and in actual fact don't. Hence I came across this MAHA model, and believe me the research I did was unbelievable before I splashed out that amount of money.
