Voltarol

Is this product any good? yes it is.

For several weeks I have had quite a bit of pain above my right hip and upper right leg. Sometimes even sitting was painful if in certain positions.

Sue kept on to me to try it , but me being pig headed as usual poo pooed the idea.
Anyway eventually I gave in a week or two back so started to use it.

Yesterday and today no pain and have not used the product, so all I can conclude it does what it says on the box.
Time will tell if I need it again.

Now if there was a product as good for ear ache from "er indoors" nagging life would be wonderful

Re: Voltarol

Think it depends on your pain, I find it helps my arthritic knee, and my ankle but does nothing for my neck and shoulder. But the massage of putting it on does help !

Re: Voltarol

I guess it doesn't work for everybody. It hasn't helped Tony's arthritic knee at all.

Re: Voltarol

What it does is reduce the inflammation, which is often what causes the pain, but it doesn't cure what is causing the problem.

Realspeed, I suspect Sue was getting fed up with your moaning about the pain, so show her some sympathy as she was only trying to reduce your pain!

Tell her that I suggest tape over your mouth, next time you poo poo her ideas. It won't solve your pain but it may make it harder for you to moan about it!

Re: Voltarol

Yes my knee and ankle swell so it deals with that, I can't take anti inflammatories orally so this apart from steroids is all I can take for swelling. It doesn't deal with bone problems though or nerves.

I'm not sure dobra I'm food controlled so GP was happy to prescribe it. I can't see anything in the blurb they put in the pack about it being a problem. But best to ask your pharmacist I think.

Yes, it's the best stuff I've used for joint and muscle pain so far, I think I've used most of the others.
I also like Deep Freeze menthol gel.

Re: Voltarol

It does nothing for my back pain or any of Mr Mags aches and pains, we rely on painkillers for that.
