Re: Blocked sink? use one of these

If your pipes are modern compression type plastic fittings they can pop them off.

Re: Blocked sink? use one of these

Thanks for the tip Bazza, although Purwell has a good point, extra heavy pressure could indeed burst the seal on plastic pipes, and that wouldn’t be cheap to have fixed.

It looks like it could be useful for shutting up a chatterbox as well, I might need a bigger cup for the wife I’m thinking.

I was wondering if there was man on the forum who was always talking about football and had more that 5,000 posts, would he have the title “Ballcock” under his name?

You'll be in more trouble if Phyllis reads that, Jem.

(Hiya Jem, haven't seen you for ages. Hope you're well).

Me neither and I have been using one for about ten years. Unblocked many sinks, showers and toilets with it. The idea is to create a seal by adding water to the blocked sink, then sucking up rather than blasting down, when the blockage clears a bit, then it can be hammered up and down without any problems.

As you say RS, you just have to remember to cover the overflow and any other outlets such as washing machine standpipes or, as you found out, you can get sludged.

You'd want to hear what she says about me behind me back, I have me spies you know.

I couldn’t be better Mups, thanks for asking, I see you had a few ups and downs yourself, but fair play to you, you always keep the good side out.
