Appendicitis

Well antibiotics were seeming to work for Gracie but she's in a bit of pain again so GP has just referred her to the hospital and we have an appointment tomorrow to present at ward three I believe where they will get her ready to lose her troublesome problem.

Not particularly looking forward to that as her blood clotting problem is not good during operations, part of the reason they want to do this before it gets too serious as a more relaxed routine than in an emergency situation where it can go more wrong.

I've rung my sister her true grandmother and got a non comital I'll see if I can get time to visit her but I am going on holiday so that comes first !

Luckily Steven has just moved his holiday he had booked so we can spend as much time at the hospital with her as she needs. He's a fantastic dad to her just as he was to her mum, makes me proud to be his wife.

But I may not be around a lot as grace does come first to us much as I love you all and love holidays grace is number one.

Re: Appendicitis

Julie good luck tomorrow when you take Gracie to the hospital. You do right saying your first priority is Gracie but remember you still have to look after yourself as well.

Give her lots of love oh and ice cream or is that for having your tonsils out. Which ever ice cream works for everything.

I wish her well and a quick recovery, if they go ahead with surgery. You are brilliant parents to her!

But do take care of yourself, too. Sending hugs. Xx

Don't worry I'm looked after too, one I really worry about is my husband he takes it all in his stride it looks like but I know inside he's not so calm.

Re: Appendicitis

Good thought's Grace's way in hopes that the best diagnosis and treatment comes about quickly. It's so difficult when our little ones are unwell, so I hope your worries are put aside quickly, as well.

Oh, and ice cream is the answer to everything .

Re: Appendicitis

Hope everything works out, I had a burst appendix when I was 8 years old, peritonitis and gangrene, touch and go for a while but the NHS sorted it.
