What would you miss most ?

After I was diagnosed as allergic to all fruits and veggies with a stone pip or seed, I had to adjust a lot. Now seven years on I have just a few things I find it so hard to resist tomatoes, strawberries, sour cherries and I dream of cucumber sandwiches !

So what would you miss most ?

Try and keep it fun and light I'm ok really and staying alive is worth more than a tomato so I'm not looking for sympathy just wondering what others would miss as I was surprised strawberries made it onto my list as I wasn't aware I ate them much when I could eat them

I'm missing sugar really badly. Not had any in months.
Bags of Tate and Lyle weep copiously as I pass them by in Sainsburys these days, wondering why I don't take them back to my place anymore for an orgy of over indulgence.
Jaffa cakes, flaunt their chocolaty orangy sponginess before me as I sadly steer my trolley away from the biscuit's section.

Strangely when I gave up sugar I found that easier than cucumbers, how odd is that ? I guess I knew I could have sugar I had volunteered to give it up.

Julie I would hate it if I could not have fruit and veg and I eat so many of them.

But my thing I have given up through choice is Cake. I had not had a slice of cake since January. But we were out this weekend and went into a coffee shop and yes I had a slice, I did eat it all but I really should have stopped after two fork fulls as I really did not want any more. I fell that stopped my craving and I can continue with my healthy eating again now.

Home made bread pudding, made with dark muscavado sugar and decorated with caster sugar. As I'm now diabetic, such luxuries are now forbidden to me.

I really miss corn on the cob and pistachio nuts (my weakness) but since having an ileostomy I cant risk a blockage, which could result in a hospital admission.

Many others things on the so called 'banned list' I do eat.

Cashews were my favourite nuts I'm lucky some nuts I can eat some I can't but I'm too scared to eat them in case it's one of the ones I can't eat

Brown bread - I just love the smell too - and cake - of any sort really
