To my mind, what is required is a series of new Parliamentary Select Committees with the power to insist that any proposed changes are put before Parliament for approval if they deem that necessary.

Some things would sail through, but others are quite important.

Let the changes go through to expedite Brexit, but the legislation that has to be in place to do that, should then self destruct (time limited)

So that future governments of whatever shade, cannot use the same tool for their own ideological ends.

There is merit in this suggestion or on a similar vein, require all such laws and legislation to gain parliamentary approval within 1-2 years of us finally leaving the EU.

What we can't have is shameless individuals trying to force impractical process and red tape right now when there is massive urgency to get through all these pieces of legislation. That's nothing more than a delaying tactic, an attempt to scupper BrExit itself.

Or they see the temporary fix as a possible future danger ?

Men of vision are often seen as trouble makers............of course you must know that with your visionary intellect.

Well let's think this through.

The Lying Looney Labour party headed by the duplicitous Comrade Corbyn presumably are still deluded and think that they will get to No 10.

That being the case they would surely stand to benefit from the "Henry VIII" powers they say the Tories are "grabbing".
Corbyn would be free to nationalise at will, to pass legislation at will.

But he ordered all his party to reject the Bill . . . .

Go figure !

Clearly he is more realistic about his chances of ever getting to No 10 and knowing he will never get there sought to obstruct the BrExit process and throw a frustrated spanner in the works.
