Labour Councillor Leaves The Party

Another week another departure from the Lying Looney Party.

This time it is controversial councillor Jean Calvert who was at the heart of the Ratesgate scandal and the coup against the party leader.

"Clr Jean Calvert, who has been suspended by Labour since June 2016, has resigned from the party with immediate effect."

According to the article:

"Between 2010/11 and 2015/16 she received a total of eight reminder letters from Kirklees Council and five court summons for non-payment of council tax."

Good can't have criminals in charge. I can't see why this is news tbh many councillors leave every year due to wrong doing from all parties.

As someone who lives under the jackboot of Kirklees council I can confirm that she was a total waste of space as quite a few of them are. All pigs are equal but some pigs are more equal than others springs to mind. She's not the only council member who haven't paid their council tax bills even though they are in a better position to do so. Anyone else failing to pay CT bill would be hauled into the courts and prosecuted.

It must be noted that another Labour Party member was suspended for not paying her CT bill but she has been re-instated after playing the `racist card` (must be one of Diane Abbott's proteges)
