Re: Snowdrop

I ventured out into the frosty garden yesterday to chase the pesky squirrel off the bird food and noticed some snowdrop poking up under one of the shrubs. I never planted them so they must have been bought in by the birds in appreciation for all the years I have been feeding them. Well thats what I want to think. They looked lovely too.

Snowdrops are such tricky little things to grow they like wet and clay .
Apparently you can carefully cut the bulbs in four parts in order to spread them quicker .( I haven't done it )

On my allotment site some one said they planted the Flowers and they grew the next year.

Am trying that to see if it works.
