Re: OFF slimming club---open to everyone.

Thanks for your advice Linda--I will take it all on board. feeling a little better now.
This morning I had 3 crispbreads cottage cheese, grapes and orange
felt too ill to eat at lunch time, but had scrambled egg, microewaved tomtoes on wholebread this evening.
I also bought an infusion water bottle to encourage me to drink more water.
practically everyone was very supportive and helpful this morning. I just have to rethink a few things.

Forgive me if I've missed it in earlier posts, but have you seen your doctor about how ill you feel most of the time and do they know what's going on? I don't imagine it would be easy trying to get more food in ya if you feel too sick to eat it.

I have seen my doctor---she has referred me to counselling--I had a telephone assessment yesterday. that should help me a lot.

Counseling? Soooo, your doctor believes it's psychological and not physical?

I apologize if I'm getting too personal, but if she's referring you to a counselor, I'm assuming all physical possibilities have been ruled out?

Its ok Linda--the counselling is for something else entirely---but it just affects my moods etc.
Enjoy your birthday lunch Susie-I love Indian--a nice chicken Korma--my favourite !!
Funnily its my birthday tomorrow-Im going out for a pub meal--but Im planning to stick to mushroom omeltte and salad.
Also going to lunch today--a once a monther at church---but I am taking my own pasta and mixed veg salad--and yoghurt. It is the company I crave more than the food !!

Re: OFF slimming club---open to everyone.

I thought I would start off today with a change of direction-so started my day with fresh fruit, pineaplle, grapes, melon, a little low fat yoghurt, plus some low sugar granola [30 grams] I know granola is usually fiull of sugar etc but I saw this one on Sainburys saying less than 4% sugar, so i assumed it would be ok--175 calories for 35 grams-sounds perfect--but when I checked it on the Syns directory for slimming world, it gives it as 6 syns for only 25 grams---it does not make sense to me---plus it cost almost £4.00, looks like i will have to waste it now. How maddening.

Re: OFF slimming club---open to everyone.

Please don't think l am crowing but l am quite proud to have reached the half stone loss the doctor said l should try to lose!
I lost two pounds this week and got a Slimming World certificate and sticker. To be quite honest, l don't like this gimmicky stuff. I also hate the constant texts with happy clappy diet talk. I have not filled out the 'what l eat' sheets as l feel dieting should be effortless!
I have lost weight and l am happy, l don't want the rest of the hassle!
