I use the very tiny spiral notebooks, usually coming in a pack of different coloured front bit, so chop and change. I'll try and grab a photo sometime, of the size.

I itemise everything I buy, not just how much I've spent, and only use up to one side of the notebook. Yes, I should economise, by using the reverse, but where's the fun in that?
