I usually only pick Sweetpeas to encourage more to flower or any flower which has snapped off from the garden.

Very rarely buy any unless I'm missing some colour, daffs are nice when I'm waiting for Spring, or a bowl of Hyacinths.
I'd much rather see flowers outdoors though.

Thanks Mups, it says cats instinctively stay away from poisonous plants , I hope that's the case because my cats come and go as they please and I know they eat grass which is ok and good for them .

I don't like plants or cut flowers in the house

Mother on the other hand does lol

Our downstairs bathroom is only used as an over wintering room and the bath is used to soak them

As long as she doesn't bring lilies indoors we keep a truce
