Ffosse, what you are really after here is just a Bluetooth dongle for your TV.

Hi Ffosse,
Does your TV have a headphone jack ? If yes, then it's real simple. Pipe your TV audio into your stereo. Plug a wireless headphone system into your stereo and then you can use a Bluetooth OR just a regular radio-wave headphone.
That's what I use.

That's what I use.

It's already piped into my stereo; I wasn't aware of the Bluetooth dongles Realist posted.
