Well I made another lemon polenta cake tonight (nigella's recipe), but this time with a home grown lemon! I may be imagining it but I think it really does taste much better. If only the lemon tree fruited more than once every one and a half years!

Was this a home made chicken kiev? I made those once and they were really yummy, but very rich with all the butter.

Yesterday's lunch was from a buffet, then in the evening I had more beef casserole, cheesy mash, dumplings and veg.

Today shall probably do a roast veg dinner. Might cook the pork belly with apple sauce. Mmmmmmm. And at some stage want to make a milk jelly.

No I hardly do any proper cooking now ... it was just a supermarket one made of junk

I did make Kievs a few times ... many moons ago.
