Re: Musicals and Theatre

Love all those posted my favourite I can't find on you tube or anywhere else. I've got it on a cassette, it's looking a bit ancient so I can't play it anymore or it might disintegrate.

It's sunshine on my shoulders John Denver wrote it and preformed it on an album but it was used in a musical they local school preformed. Tasha was in it and sung a solo of it. So it's very precious memory to me.

Re: Musicals and Theatre

I think one of the best stage musicals i saw was Miss Saigon , the story and
sound effects was much more professional than most musicals i have seen .

I nearly forgot as I have seen so many Musicals.
I saw this Musical at the Southampton Mayflower.

Don't know if this counts as a musical, but it's still a classic

Re: Musicals and Theatre

I can't thread we had for this particular musical, but I saw 'Beautiful' last night - the story of Carole King.

I'm more a rock concert goer and musicals don't normally float my (show)boat but I did enjoy this one....until we had to leave at the interval as my wife wasn't very well. But what I saw of it I liked.

Carol, if you're reading - it's always good to get different opinions from people and I agree with you about certain aspects of this they could have done differently, but for these ears and eyes, I thought it was okay. I'd probably give it a 'good' 7/10
