Thank you Ania, I was a bit late and when that happens I normally go into the 'Today I have' thread, anyway we stayed mostly on the east side of the country, Courtown in Wexford, then Waterford to see some of the wife's relations, the weather was smashing, then we ended up in a farmhouse belonging to one of my fathers cousins a couple of miles outside Mullingar town, nothing was planned and we just phoned to say we would drop in. Yesterday the heavens opened and we decided to come home but we had a great time. The Mullingar relatives are dropping up to see us sometime next month, I just hope me liver holds out.
The house here will be upside down from monday as the wife has decided to have the living room plastered and a new fireplace fitted, I wish she told me that last week and I could have stayed in Mullingar until it was done.

there is nothing like a trip away to give an incentive to do those little jobs at home
