Re: Slow Cookers

Make sure that the slow cooker fits in the back of the cupboard and that will be the size you want.

Re: Slow Cookers

Well thanks again everyone for your advice. Thank you Steve for that link you provided. I have decided that I will get one next time I am in town, after all, they aren't expensive so it's worth trying one out. Thanks.

Re: Slow Cookers

I have had one for many years. I love mine and use it a lot, especially in the winter months.

Re: Slow Cookers

I"ve had a slow cooker for donkeys years and love it.
Put in what ever you want, I don"t add water on the advice of a friend , else it gets too "sloopy". Then just leave , the meat gets really tender with the slow cooking. use it all the time in the Winter.

Re: Slow Cookers

My gas range cooker has one ring just for slow cooking. I just load up the cauldron with stew and leave it there all day. For joints of meat I use the slow oven.
