Golly Gosh!!

Pathetic isn't it 100 British soldiers being sent to the Baltic region? I bet Putin is scared s******s!!

It's more just a token protest isn't it? Would we really want to have a full Army there even if we could match Russia's might? That would look as if we were seriously getting ready for War with their forces. I don't think anyone would want that to appear to be the case.

I wonder how effective one hundred British Soldiers will be against the massed ranks of the Red Army??? Given that the Baltic states are on Russia's doorstep, Putin could muster one hundred THOUSAND troops in a matter of days!!!

They couldn't be effective and I think the British Government would be aware of this. Remember that the British are backed by the Americans. They would have been there too if anything more serious than a token protest was intended ..at this stage.

I don't think Russia seems in a mood to take much notice though.

In other words, America wants to pick another fight with the Russians and the 100 British troops are mere pawns in that game to be sacrificed at will. I'm sure the families and friends of those British soldiers will be immensely pleased to hear this.
