I used to use an electric leaf blower/vac which was great but it did get a bit heavy after a while. Your petrol one looks good though. Petrol is normally better than the electric version.

This one weight 5kg. This weight is right under the hand so no effort to hold straight . I too have a duel suck/blow machine and like you have found it a right sod to hold for too long.
This one just blows and very powerful it is too
