Yesterday's snowstorm

The snow yesterday lasted all day in varying degrees.

The lighting was very challenging for capturing action shots, but I managed to get this Goldfinch in flight, the only one of I don't know how many.

Nice photos Fogey, but not so much as a flake here in South Yorkshire, it's been sunny and clear all day here but kick ass cold......I hope I don't regret saying this in the morning...

Well we are forecast another 6 inches tomorrow. And that's on top of a very hard frost, so I'm going nowhere.
