Marriage Allowance

Today I applied for the new Marrige Allowance to transfer some of my tax allowance to OH. Hubby pays tax on his pension but he'll now pay less..

This marriage allowance came out last April a neighbour told us about it today. Seems you have to find things out for yourself.

I did it online but many pensioners don't have internet so they would have to get a form to fill in.:.......

Re: Marriage Allowance

I did this a while ago, couldn't do it on-line so arranged it over the phone.

Re: Marriage Allowance

Yes, we did that as well, and it was a bit of a struggle to get it done.
But my tax allowance went up by that £1,000 so that is around £220 in my back pocket Osborne hasn't got his sticky little fingers on!

Which means loadsa extra booze for me!
Cheers George!
