Not fond of them, they make me feel queezy. The other half eats them like smarties though. Suppose I'll be buying them soon enough..

My daughter makes the best mince pies ever. I have tried using her recipe but they never come out as good as hers. Lovely short almondy pastry. She makes dozens every Christmas, for work, home and her Beaver Scouts. She was a very good cook as a child and would always make our Sunday pudding, something different every week. I used to give her free range in the kitchen and it has certainly paid off.

Ive had a Morrison Mince Pie today , it wasn't as good as Co-Ops,at this rate i shall be piling on the pounds again ,
I find Mince Pies are very morish ,im guilty of eating one at 3am this morning ...

Those are the ones I buy. I prefer the deep filled ones, they are delicious

Not sure now the box is in the bin , they were a little on the burnt side , the pies were eaten though..

Sorry I don't like Mince Pies or Christmas Pudding nor Christmas cake. I will buy a box of Mince pies so that my Husband can eat them though.
