HiThey are wanting to reduce the amount of phosphate added to them as phosphate can affect your heart.
The phosphates are added to increase the amount of water in the meat.
It will not mean that kebabs are banned at all, there are natural alternatives which do the same thing with no ill effects at all.
The commercial kebab producers do not like them as they are more expensive than the chemical food additives they use.
It is all about profit.

Not true darlin' - I've eaten many kebabs - in fact have had them delivered to me, and officially I'm not allowed alcohol, so have eaten them stone cold sober!!!
