No, I am not joking as that's often what is required as we age. It was with my parents and unfortunately we are probably all going there, at some time or other!
Not me. The minute I can't make the bathroom, I'm out.

Re: Old people’s bedside table

Just an Echo Show that acts like a radio, alarm, small TV for watching Amazon Prime, plays stuff to get me to sleep, and displays the week's weather. Other than that, just a table lamp. Also, a bottle of water on the floor beside my bed.

I would love one of those infra red things that usually go on your bedside table. They reflect the time and and room temperature onto your ceiling when it’s dark.

Just a wee clock on mine, and my phone when I'm in bed, otherwise it's just the clock.

Re: Old people’s bedside table

On ours are 2 books, 2 pairs of glasses, 3 clocks (1 battery operated in case of a power cut), 1 lamp, a packet of tissues and my tiny sports radio and ear buds. On the shelf underneath is where I keep a pack of spare AAA batteries for the radio and V keeps her bottles of nail varnish and other stuff in the draw below that.

Re: Old people’s bedside table

Mine sometimes has too much clutter to even see the table.

On a good day it will have the bedside lamp, small radio, my mobile - (usually turnec off at night), alarm clock, my reading glasses, a small torch, a small picture of a beautiful Angel a friend painted for me, and a crystal pendulum.

On the other side's table there loads of books i want to read, piles of 'em.

My window sills hold more plants and cuttings than Kew Gardens!

It took a lot of work and long hours to get so well cluttered.

Haha! Your windowsills sound a lot like mine!

Re: Old people’s bedside table

My 'bedside' table has on it my bed and two five-drawer cabinets,
that should be easy enough to work out!
