Every Easter the local congregation carry a huge wooden cross from the next village to the church down the road, then they plant it outside......

Anyway, the title of this thread reminds me that my sister (not the nice one) used to sing "Gladly, my cross-eyed bear" instead of "gladly, my cross I bear", (she's still stupid)!
