Happy Birthday! Dame Vera.Do you remember me? I was in the Brownies and you came to Warwick Castle for some sort of Jamboree! I was the grumpy looking one, as l had lost my beret and had to wear one of those horrid knitted Brownie caps on that day!
I must see if your Desert Island Discs appearance is still available. I bet it is very interesting!

Been reading a lot about this grand old lady for a week now.A liitle before my time I am afraid but I love her music more so today than when I was a young un.
Just ordered her new album although I am reading remarks that a few of her guest are trying to outshine her which I believe is rather silly.
Because its something I know nobody could do.
Happy Birthday girl and I hope you have many more.

Just listened to her second one yesterday on Radio 4ex Art so may well be available as a podcast.
