Good morning by the way. Ooops.Trying to print out letters to put inside cards but (A) black ink ran out (changed font colour) and (B) print manager is taking a time to delete a file as I had to change the paper size (in a roundabout way). Tried restarting lappie and printer, but to no avail.
Grrrrrrrrr.

Sometimes I think it's quicker to do by hand in the end!!
Good morning all, although not exactly good with the hail showers we are having, some of them quite heavy.
Hope we miss them at the appropriate time when we go out for indoor bowling this afternoon. We give a lift to an elderly lady, have to assume she is coming as our landline is out of order at present.

Oh val, is that because of bad weather? Hope it gets fixed soon.One of my letters ran to 6 A4 sides, so it had to be printed! Connected lappie via usb in the end, rather than wirelessly, and got the job done.
All cards now posted. A big phew.
Just waiting for some sausage rolls to cook, then it'll be a coffee with brandy and amaretto tipple to go with. A little sit down with the paper, then I have to find a bag to sort out for going away with.
Committee meeting tonight. Our new Treasurer asked if we could change the day (to suit her!), blimming cheek. Don't particularly want to go out in the cold evening, even though I take the car.

Not long after posting here this morning, the landline got fixed. Only was aware of the problem Saturday when I came to use it, but did 1571 later and found that the problem must have existed since Tuesday, which was the first of my messages on there.
