I hate cooking.

My signature dish is baked spud, done in the m/wave and then browned under the grill.

That's it.
Chuck some prawns with marie rose sauce on it and that's me as well.
Otherwise it's a kick at the pantry door.

Re: Your signature dish?

No starter.

Main. Meat loaf. Equal quantities of pork sausage meat and minced beef. Chopped onion, a sprinkling of instant gravy powder, seasoning (I do S&P, and sometimes dried mixed herbs). Beaten egg to bind. Using fingers, work mixture together. Shape into an oblong into an oven dish, flatten the top, and roast with your usual choice of veg (potato, parsnip, sweet potato). And before it is fully cooked, I sprinkle any flavour of dry stuffing on the top and put back in oven.

Don’t put the stuffing in for the whole time as it will blacken and burn.

Dessert could be a cheat’s crumble, and cream/custard/ice cream.

Dinner is served at 7pm, come dressed in 40s style. For entertainment there will be a 40s dance band and a lindy hop competition. The prestigious Lion Queen Trophy for the winner.

See ya soon.

Re: Your signature dish?

Pumpkin stew. Everyone gets their own pumpkin, which is baked once and then baked again with the stew inside. The idea is to scrape out small bites of pumpkin from the inside as you go.

Festive presentation, organic, one dish, easy clean-up, kids love it...
