What don't they want us to know about and are they negotiating with those promises in mind or something entirely different?
The negotiations aren't secret, they haven't started yet. They are still scouting around for experienced negotiators. Until they have those they can't progress.

Neither can the UK begin negotiations with other non European counties because as a member of the EU they are not allowed and run the risk of massive fines if they do. Rest assured it will be alright on the night. If its not the leave campaigners should create as much fuss as the disgruntled remainers do now

Re: Brexit Again

Stated that Article 50 will be invoked in Jan/Feb.

That's when negotiations will start and they could take up to 2 years.

We will still need UKIP over this time period.

Re: Brexit Again

Hi

Yes, the EU could fine us, but so what.

We seem to be only Country in the EU who bothers to follow the rules.

We could of course, take Germany and France to the EU Courts, because neither of them are complying with EU Rules, haven't been for years and nothing has happened to them.

If Frau Merkel starts playing hardball, which she is at the moment, time to hit Volkswagen for the car emission fiasco.

They are having to pay billions in the USA, we should do the same, it would pay any fines the EU impose on us,

I completely agree, SF. They are treating us like the fools we are.

I feel that had Maggie still been with us, and in post, she'd have certainly given them a thick ear.

We are indeed fools. We should be dictating to them, not they dictating to us.

Re: Brexit Again

France and Germany have elections next year, any negotiations have to consider what changes that will bring about.

Re: Brexit Again

Worries me a bit some are calling for another referendum on what is finally agreed, it's a delaying tactic IMO they will do anything to stop us leaving.
