Its not that they can't change the system, but that they won't, since its not in their financial interest to do so, which is why this scumbag 'nasty party' member voted down changes to the housing legislation to ease the homelessness problem.

I'm not sure why people think there is going to be some magic wand from government to make all the foreigners leave. It's just not going to happen because that would be too much hassle economically and politically. Better to focus money on a decent system and good controls going forward.

Obviously this appointment is a "pacifier". He won't be able to change the system any more than predecessors.
Hi

I totally disagree about the illegals.

You do not reward criminals.

They have been scamming the system, illegally working and taking jobs from the law abiding.

If they were genuine they would have applied for asylum immediately.

It sends entirely the wrong message, we will have huge problems with even more trying to get here.

Hi

Theresa May set the targets.

She reduced budgets and staff and went after the easy target.

The number of real illegals shot up as a result of this.

It was all about money.

Yes but they have also been here as slave labour and unable to be in the system.

We have been unable to locate them so it's best to just grant a one off amnesty and draw a line. That way our tax revenues will be boosted and all the hidden abuse and beds in sheds should be marginalised to the real people traffickers.

A lot of these people are just desperate and we shouldn't be wasting public funds keeping them locked up while the real crims are out laughing at the justice system.

Not if you grant an amnesty and then pull down the shutters with a new efficient process and secure borders. If you stop wasting money on detention and plough that into border control you will have a workable system.

Looks like May might be in deep DO DO over this.

Even her own party are asking questions over her time as the H.S

Sajid Javid, the scumbag 'nasty party's' Home Secretary, whilst apologising on the one hand to the 'windrush generation', on the other is refusing an appeals process to those the Home Office officials deny citizenship rights to.

He's ceratinly sneaky and two-faced, but then that's der riggeur for scumbag 'nasty party' members.

The real 'mekon' was Jacob's dad, William Rees-Mogg. Remember the play starring John Bird entitled "Dear Bill" - this referred to the correspondence which allegedly passed between William and Denis Thatcher.
