Raw eggs.
During my childhood we had a family tradition when we were all together the Belgian and English side of the family to have a big celebratory meal.
The sweet we used to have was a pudding "cooked" overnight in the fridge. It was then turned out of the bowl and covered in lots of fresh whipped cream and cherries.
I haven't made this for a while but have been invited to a BBQ the first weekend in May and as my contribution to the meal I was going to make this pudding.
The problem is that part of the recipe calls for raw eggs and I'm not sure whether it's ok these days for people to eat things containing raw eggs.
I would really like to make this pudding but I also don't want to become known in history as the Market Harborough Poisoner of 2018
What do you think, safe or not?
