Re: Second hand Kit.

Thanks folks for the comments. Barrie on second hand gear you do take a chance, and this camera with a basic 18 to 55 mm lens goes for about £50.

It does depend on what you want to take with it, if you have a CEX near you they usually have a range of second hand cameras and lenses on offer to fit most pockets.

Dobra that's an impressive camera and had good reviews when released, so many cameras are released now that gear quickly drops in price and becomes undervalued.

Im about to try using a shoulder pod on my super zoom bridge camera to aid my poor balance and stability hopefully this will aid in my longer distance shots.

This proves that you do not need an expensive Camera to take brilliant shots

Re: Second hand Kit.

It is the person behind the camera that makes the shots, the camera only records it

Here is the Olympus Beast ! Heavy and a bugger to drive too, needs fluidity and integration in its controls.

Having moaned, it still takes high quality images, a combination of their high quality lens and electronics. Worth taking out occasionally. AMEN

Lovely pictures, Nom - I wish I was half as talented.

I take it they use film...do you develop them yourself? EDIT: I see it is digital.
