Hi everyone, spent the day scrubbing the walls of our new flat getting all the glue etc on the previously wallpapered off ready for painting, I am so tired I could sleep standing up and I think I will have muscles like Arnie.Carol hope the hangover is a lot better now and that you had a lovely evening!

I hope you managed to get it all done Anita & can relax now.
I felt a lot better after I'd been for a swim - it was only a mild hangover - I had four glasses of wine - that's not really a lot is it?
Meeting the family now for a carvery meal. I haven't eaten much all day so feeling quite ravenous now.

Hope you had a lovely time myrtle, hope you enjoyed the meal on Saturday Carol.Had a bad day yesterday, reversed the car into a lamp post which was in my blind spot but partly because I was stressed about something else and not concentrating so it went from bad to worse. It's an old car so probably not worth repairing as where the dent is would probably mean a new wing.
OH saw it happen and was furious, don't know how I managed to drive home.
My daughter came round and helped me out with a few things. Today can only be better, have a good week everyone.

Ooops Anita - I feel for you... I'm no stranger to bumps & bashes. Once I ran into the back of another car & it cost £3,000 to put it right... Thank goodness for insurance!! Hi Jazzi - I'll be there at approx 11.00am at the Manchester central Bus station... Myrtle & CC are meeting me - perhaps you could meet me there too. Most of the others are coming a bit later I think..Nothing has been finalised about where we're going. I suggested the Festive market - I'd like to go there but only if the others agree. There will be time for other things too - and lunch of course..
Any suggestions?

Thanks Carol, yes, I'll meet you there, at 11. I don't mind what we do: as a relative stranger to Manchester I'm happy to be guided around and in good company. My only request is that any walking around is done slowly, and not hurried!Looking forward to seeing you ladies, so much.
ETA: put all the details in my iPhone: place, time and who will be there.
