If you have two digital cameras it would be cheaper to do as Alan suggested than go to the trouble of buying another camera, then having to pay to have the photos developed.
If you go to a Tesco or Asda there will be always someone there to help you.
I would take the photos on a digital camera then upload them to the computer then copy to a disc, postage wouldn't cost much either. I'm sure your uncle would enjoy seeing them on the TV more so if you can add music too.
Nearly all my pics are on disc including the ones scanned that are old old black and white ones plus my B/W wedding photos.
