Yes .. .I was amazed. Storm Hector. I always associate this kind of stuff with Autumnal storms or winter.

Looks like Scotland and the North can expect gales of 70mph

We have a yellow warning, tomorrow morning is supposed to be very windy but winds to ease off a little later. I don't think we will get the worst of it, hope its not too bad when I'm driving to work tomorrow morning, I don't like driving at the best of times never mind in bad weather.

Wind started picking up around 3pm and started to get dark

Its raining now and the wind is howling but nothing untoward as of yet

Oh I dunno ... it is going dull here in Staffs Floydy.

I'd love some rain for the garden too and it feels icky and humid to me, which I hate.

You might get away with it, Morti being down South.
I have a nice selection of Pink Floyd baseball caps so I'll be okay I reckon.

Hi

We were supposed to get away with it Floydy, but we have just had a proper squall and the huge garden umbrella in one of the houses at the back has gone walkabout.
