£14.5 million ?

So government is sending all tax payers a break down of where their tax goes costing the country £14.5 million. Anyone feel that is money well spent or like me think they are simply trying to make everyone feel benefits and pensions are a drain on them ?

Re: £14.5 million ?

I don't know, could be interesting but why does everything cost so much to do today? Many people have an email address, why don't they email documents or put them somewhere so we could download them...

It'll all be wrapped up in such jargon we'll need to have it translated. In fact some will definitely need translation, many taxpayers are foreign and not good English speakers.

Apparently all the information is available on the internet anyway. So unless you have no computer you don't need this anyway.

Oh well, it's unnecessary really, then. They can't seem to spend our money fast enough, can they?!! Ridiculous, if we chucked our money around like this we'd all be out on the street.

It's a fact a couple of adverts in the papers should inform us just as well...

Well, we all know where £14.5 million is being wasted before they even send us the information.

I think it's cynical Julie....I believe too that in the run-up to the general election they want us to see how 'little' in comparison we pay to the EU.
